Below are the links to my second lesson plan and video. Henry and I continue to work hard on spelling. This week we focused on the short /a/, /i/, /o/ and /u/ while playing a game. Henry was able to notice patterns, spell the words, use it in sentences and do some other things to help improve his academics. This week Henry and I talked about a goal before our lesson and how that will help Henry throughout school. I think this was a great addition to our lessons.
There are 2 videos for this lesson- at the end of our lesson Henry's Occupational Therapist came into my office, so I stopped the video and after her session was done we started recording to finish our lesson again.

TE III: Lesson 1 (Spelling with a focus on short /e/
Below are the links to my first lesson plan and video. Henry and I are working hard on spelling this year. Helping Henry to become a good speller will improve his academics in many areas such as reading and writing. This is in addition to also building his confidence. I try really hard to make things hands on for Henry, so that he can make a memory and connection while learning.
