TE III Lesson 3: Short a, i, e continued and an introduction to words that end in CK
Below are the links to my third lesson plan and video. Henry and I continue to work hard on spelling. This week we wrapped up our last lesson with the short /a/, /i/ and /e/. Henry has been doing so well with his words that I decided to challenge him and introduce new words that he will have coming up. These are words that end with /ck/. We practiced these words in the form of the game Don't Break The Ice. I worked on incorporating more sign language this week as Henry has been signing a lot more and it is something that I have wanted to add into my lessons (where he expresses more) Henry continues to spell words correctly, use them in a sentence, notice patterns and now spell them using fingerspelling. Henry also talked about our goal this week before I was able to bring it up. Lastly, we did a verbal exit ticket at the end of our lesson.
There are 2 videos for this lesson- I was recording on my phone and received a phone call. This causes the recording to stop and I needed to restart it.
